This position maintains pavement, manufactures and installs street signs, maintains stormwater structures and channels, operates tools, vehicles, and equipment, and supports County emergency operations.

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements

• This position requires criminal, credit, and DMV background checks.
• A valid driver's license and good driving record are required. (Driving records may be reviewed annually for continued qualification.)
• A valid Class "B" CDL is preferred. If currently a CDL holder, successful candidate must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, meet annual CDL/DOT requirements, and pass required drug/alcohol tests.
• The successful candidate must be able to work in extreme temperatures and lift up to 70lbs.
• May be required to work outside of normal working hours and during County emergencies.
• Performs snow removal operations as directed. This position is considered "Essential."
