The City of Lorena is looking for a dependable and motivated person to join our Public Works team. This is an entry-level position, and previous public works experience is not required. The City will provide training and hands-on experience to help you learn the skills needed to succeed. What You'll Do As a Public Works Maintenance Technician, you will work alongside our experienced team to help maintain the City's: Water distribution and wastewater collection systemsStreets and public infrastructureParks and public spacesCity equipment and facilities You will learn to safely use basic tools, vehicles, and equipment while assisting with maintenance, repairs, and other projects that keep the City running. Every day can be a little different, and you'll have the opportunity to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as you gain experience.
