Public School Clinician - Oak Hill Middle School

About the role

Spurwink clinicians provide individual and family therapy in a school setting at Oak Hill Middle School, which serves grades 5-8 in RSU4 (Sabattus, Wales, Litchfield). Home and community-based sessions are also offered as needed. This position is year-round. Spurwink prioritizes quality supervision for clinicians, using a blend of individual and group formats to meet licensing requirements and professional development needs. Access to training in evidence-based treatment modalities is provided. A generous allowance is available for therapy supplies, external trainings, and license reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and provide individual and family therapy.
• Provide updates on treatment progress for managed care entries, clinical documentation, and electronic record keeping.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and demonstrate strong networking skills.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
• Current Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC). Fully licensed strongly preferred.
• Current driver's license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving policy.
