About the role

The Public School Clinician at Oak Hill Middle School is responsible for providing mental health services to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student needs
  • Develop and implement mental health education programs
  • Assess and monitor student progress towards treatment goals
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent
  • Experience working with adolescents in a school-based setting
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
