About the role
The Public School Clinician at Oak Hill Middle School is responsible for providing mental health services to students in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student needs
- Develop and implement mental health education programs
- Assess and monitor student progress towards treatment goals
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Requirements
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent
- Experience working with adolescents in a school-based setting
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
