About the role
The Public School Clinician at Biddeford Middle School is responsible for providing mental health services to students in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development meetings
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Maine
- Experience working with adolescents in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
- Experience with data management systems

Pay
Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
