About the role

The Public School Clinician at Biddeford Middle School is responsible for providing mental health services to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions
  • Participate in regular supervision and professional development meetings

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Maine
  • Experience working with adolescents in a school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
  • Experience with data management systems

Pay

Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
