About the role
The successful candidate will provide clinical services to students in grades K-12 within the public school setting. Responsibilities include assessment, intervention planning, and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of student needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
Requirements
- Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for mental health issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for supporting the academic and emotional growth of students
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using technology for data collection and reporting
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
