Public School Clinician - MSAD72

About the role

The successful candidate will provide clinical services to students in grades K-12 within the MSAD72 school district. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
• Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Requirements

• Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Maine
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development and learning theories
• Understanding of mental health disorders and their treatment
• Proficiency in using assessment tools and software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
