About the role
The Public School Clinician at Lewiston Middle/High School is responsible for providing mental health services to students in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement support plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform treatment planning
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills
Requirements
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent
- Experience working with adolescents and families in a school-based setting
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
