Public Safety Officer Trainee-Limbo Variable hours/BMH

Responsibilities

• Maintains surveillance of visitors and conducts interviews of unauthorized persons.
• Completes accurate and legible Officer Incident Reports and monitors video footage and security systems.
• Responds to "Code" calls and enforces parking rules.
• Restraints patients as necessary and prepares helipads for medical transport.
• Provides notary services and handles helipad arrivals and departures.
• Monitors parking lot, logs infractions, and enforces parking rules.
• Supports weapons screening and detection operations.
• Identifies and responds to alarms or potential threats.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• On-the-job training provided as a condition of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior training and experience in security technology, public safety, and emergency preparedness
• IAHSS Basic certification
