Public Safety Officer Trainee-FT Evenings/BMH

Responsibilities

• Maintains surveillance of visitors and conducts interviews of unauthorized persons.
• Completes accurate and legible Officer Incident Reports and monitors video footage and security systems.
• Responds to "Code" calls and enforces parking rules.
• Restraints patients as directed by hospital policy.
• Prepares helipads for medical emergencies and handles notary public duties.
• Monitors parking lot security, logs and releases bodies, and handles radio communications.
• Supports weapons screening operations and responds to alarms or threats.
• Performs other tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• On-the-job training provided
• Ability to comply with firearm and substance use regulations
