About the role
Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercy's coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention.
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid State drivers license
- Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 30 days of hire)
- Passing score on Functional Job Screening Certification/Registration: Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure)
Qualifications
- Education: College degree preferred
- Licensure: Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required
- Experience: Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred
Skills
- Ability to read and write the English language
