About the Role
Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercy’s coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy’s Mission, Values, and Service Standards.

Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma
- 18 years of age or older
- Licensure:
- Valid State driver’s license
- Valid local, state, or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 30 days of hire)
- Experience: Passing score on Functional Job Screening
- Certification/Registration: Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (may be done as part of licensure)
- Other Skills and Knowledge: Ability to read and write the English language
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: College degree
- Licensure: Valid local, state, or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required
- Experience: Previous Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
