Public Safety Officer Trainee-BMH/Limbo

Responsibilities

• Maintains surveillance of visitors and conducts interviews of unauthorized persons.
• Completes accurate and legible Officer Incident Reports and monitors video footage.
• Responds to security alerts and follows established protocols.
• Enforces parking rules and restrains threatening patients as directed.
• Prepares helipads for medical emergencies and handles notary services.
• Monitors parking lot, logs infractions, and supports weapons screening.
• Supports public safety efforts by handling radio calls and requests for service.
• Conducts secondary screenings and responds to alarms or potential threats.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Sergeant or Public Safety leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• On-the-job training provided as a condition of employment
• Ability to comply with federal, state, and local firearm regulations
