Public Safety Beat

Responsibilities

• Work fixed posts, patrol grounds on foot, and respond to radio calls for assistance
• Maintain visitor traffic and crowd control
• Work special events after hours
• Direct vehicle traffic in and around Zoo grounds
• Auxiliary with off-ground runs and deliveries
• Provide visitors with general information

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• First Aid CPR/AED certification a plus

Pay

The starting rate for this position is $17.00 per hour, but may increase based on availability and experience.
