About the role
This entry-level Public Relations Coordinator position is a terrific all-encompassing opportunity for soon-to-be graduate students or college graduates starting out in the PR industry. The work week for this role follows a Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday schedule, with flexibility, weekend, and after-hours work required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the all-encompassing media monitoring system for eight linear, digital, and streaming platforms of FOX News Media.
- Serve in a foundational go-to role supporting the entire department in all administrative PR functions.
Requirements
- At least two prior internships in public relations; a degree with a concentration in Communications is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a rigorous workload.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
- Consistent diligence and very strong attention to detail.
- Superior organizational and research skills.
- Must be extremely resourceful, efficient, and capable of taking initiative.
- Experience with meeting constant, and often immediate, rapid deadlines.
- Ability to uphold a very strict level of confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to adapt to change and possess situational awareness.
- Professional, mature demeanor with a can-do, upbeat attitude and a desire to learn and grow.
Pay
The pay rate/range for this role is $23.50–$27.65 per hour, with the final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location.
