Public Relations Areas Of Responsibility

  • Cook up all communication efforts, including but not limited to the Church bulletin, Church Website, myParish App, and other related platforms.
  • Work in tandem with the Parish and its ministries to keep parishioners updated about activities and upcoming events.
  • Collaborate with the School and ECLC for joint publications across all platforms.
  • Participate in the planning of Parish events for the Church, School, and Early Learning Center.
  • Create flyers, signage, and media for timely communications.
  • Prepare and analyze reports as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or its equivalent in experience.
  • A practicing Catholic in good standing with knowledge of the teaching of the Catholic Church, its structures, functions, and institutions.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computers, various software, and office equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage stress.
  • Leadership and responsibility.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to interpret and draw conclusions from complex data.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and travel to various diocesan locations.
