Public Relations Areas Of Responsibility
- Cook up all communication efforts, including but not limited to the Church bulletin, Church Website, myParish App, and other related platforms.
- Work in tandem with the Parish and its ministries to keep parishioners updated about activities and upcoming events.
- Collaborate with the School and ECLC for joint publications across all platforms.
- Participate in the planning of Parish events for the Church, School, and Early Learning Center.
- Create flyers, signage, and media for timely communications.
- Prepare and analyze reports as requested.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or its equivalent in experience.
- A practicing Catholic in good standing with knowledge of the teaching of the Catholic Church, its structures, functions, and institutions.
- Proficiency in utilizing computers, various software, and office equipment.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a changing environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage stress.
- Leadership and responsibility.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to interpret and draw conclusions from complex data.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and travel to various diocesan locations.
