About the role
This role is part of a multi-year project to implement a best-of-breed platform that supports the company's public markets and asset allocation strategies. The role involves integrating and improving processes across the entire investment lifecycle, focusing on pre and post-trade processing, position management, performance, finance, and other support areas.
Responsibilities
- Gather, draft, and validate business requirements and workflows, and assist with the functional design of solutions.
- Develop, execute, and document user test plans and organize and oversee end-user testing and acceptance.
- Manage and execute functional testing of system enhancements/changes resulting from the work effort.
- Develop, and/or assist in the development, of end-user training materials and coordinate / conduct user training.
- Proactively communicate with the project team, stakeholders, senior management, and the wider organization, managing expectations and escalating issues and risks as needed.
- Prepare well-structured materials and audience-appropriate messaging.
Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years' experience in business analyst roles at investment management organizations.
- Substantial knowledge of the end-to-end investment operations lifecycle across asset classes, including the processes, workflows, and investment platforms/systems used to support the investment business.
- Experience of post-trade processing in SimCorp Dimension is a significant plus.
- Experience with other Portfolio Management/Risk Management systems such as Blackrock Aladdin, FactSet, and MSCI.
- Experience with Order/Execution Management systems such as Charles River and Flex ONE.
- Experience with Enterprise Management systems for Finance & HR such as Workday, SAP, etc.
- Experience in configuring, connecting, enhancing, and implementing a main platform for portfolio management, trading, compliance, and operations, and finance - supporting a variety of investment instruments.

- Knowledge of investment operations lifecycle and related systems.
- Experience with portfolio management, risk management, order execution, and enterprise management systems.
