Supervises Public Health Investigators in TB Control at 8000 N. Stadium Dr., Houston, TX 77054.
Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line supervision and training of Public Health Investigators and other personnel involved in disease intervention activities.
- May supervise special projects and programs.
- Monitor and track duties related to expanded/high‑profile contact investigations, including arranging TB informational sessions with community stakeholders.
- Monitor field work, data collection, data entry, and database maintenance to ensure proper medical evaluation of TB patients and contacts.
- Lead a team performing TB field activities: Directly Observed Therapy (DOT), Video DOT (VDOT), Enhanced Self‑Administered Therapy (ESAT), Contact Investigation (CI), transportation.
