About the role
Teaching Aide position for 10 months at Cayuga Heights Elementary.
Responsibilities
- Aid students in transitioning throughout the building.
- Maintain monitoring of student reading instruction.
- Meet with students in the foyer before and after school.
- Monitor students for toileting needs and assist as needed.
- Support classroom teachers with additional tasks as requested.
Qualifications
- Ability to establish good relationships and get along with children, maintain order, and ensure school regulations are followed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and staff.
- Show good power of observation and be dependable.
- Prior experience caring for students with disabilities.
- Understand and respect confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
- Four (4) years experience in the care and supervision of children.
- An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (1) and (2).
Benefits
Salary is competitive and ranges from $19.75 per hour.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 2:00pm.
Pay
$19.75 per hour.
