About the role
Teach in a part-time position at Cayuga Heights Elementary.
Responsibilities
- Aid students in transitioning throughout the building.
- Maintain order and ensure school regulations are followed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and staff.
- Monitor student reading instruction.
- Meet with students in the foyer before and after school.
- Assist with toileting needs as needed.
- Assist the classroom teacher with additional tasks as requested.
Qualifications
- Establish good relationships and get along with children.
- Maintain order and ensure school regulations are followed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and staff.
- Show good power of observation and dependability.
- Understand and respect confidentiality.
- Prior experience caring for students with disabilities is preferred.
