Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Pay: $17/hour + Shift Differentials + $600 Sign-on Bonus Location: Howard, PA Schedule: Part-Time No Experience Needed (all training is paid!) Schedule & Pay Starting at $17/h$600 sign-on/stay-on bonusAdditional $1/h for late nights, weekends, and holidays (differentials can stack!)Opportunities to pick up extra shifts and overtime Benefits 26 hours of paid training per year6 premium holidays annually; time-and-a-half pay for employees who work those holidaysMileage reimbursed ($0.76/mile) if using personal vehicle for community outings401(K) Retirement Plan Required Qualifications 18+ years of ageHigh School Diploma or GEDValid driver's license (agency vehicles provided for community outings)TB test and physicalAble to lift 50 pounds & assist with physical supports such as lifting, bending, standing, etc. Preferred, But Not Required Experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism (IDD/A)Experience in direct care, caregiving, behavioral health, or healthcare What You'll Do Provide direct support to adults with IDD/A in residential group homesAssist with activities of daily living like cooking, hygiene, and routinesMonitor health, safety, and well-being of individualsSupport individuals in building life skillsProvide transportation to community-based activities and appointmentsPromote independence and a person-centered environmentBuild meaningful relationships while making a difference every day Growth Opportunities Professional Development: Eligible DSPs can complete NADSP credentialing and earn an extra $1/hour per credential, up to $3!Internal Promotion Culture: We believe in promoting from within.
