JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets guests upon arrival, according to IHG standards.
• Answers telephone communications, takes reservations.
• Attends to special guests’ requests.
• Promotes image of restaurant by displaying impeccable manners, diplomacy and tact towards restaurant/hotel guests.
• Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest comment and other relevant information.
• Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests.
• Follows the procedure on Cash handling and Bill presentation to guests.
• Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships.
• Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled.
• Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled.
• Checks to ensure that the Opentable System is running properly during and before service.
• Ensures that all menus are checked and clean and informs manager if more menus are needed.
• Greet every single guest with a warm welcome, in the appropriate area of entrance.
• Help guests with the chair.
• Present an open menu to each guest and a clean wine list to every table.
• During breakfast service, presents our breakfast menu and the 2 options buffet/a la carte and promote our buffet and mention the server’s name.
• Wish the guest a pleasant meal.
• Offer a parting comment as the guest exit the restaurant.
• Performs duties noted on the daily tasks & cleaning schedule.
• Aids in the table cleaning and set up when available.
• Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned.
