PT Aide / Technician

Job Description

Aid therapists with treatments under direct supervision.

Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.

• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
• Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma required; preference given to those pursuing a career in an allied health profession.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office.
