Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide courteous customer service in person and by telephone.
- Answer questions and provide information regarding Sheriff's Office services, procedures, and forms.
- Prepare, type, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, forms, notices, and other documents.
- Process and maintain a variety of records and documentation.
- Enter and retrieve information from computer systems and databases.
- Maintain organized filing systems, including electronic records.
- Scan, file, retrieve, and securely dispose of confidential records in accordance with record retention requirements.
- Research information and compile administrative and statistical data.
- Afford assistance with scheduling, calendars, and general office support.
- Communicate effectively with County officials, court personnel, law enforcement agencies, attorneys, and the public.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of clerical or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
