About the role

The National Recruitment Service (NRS) is running a targeted recruitment campaign to fill immediate vacancies for Psychologists in HSE Disability Services. Vacancies are available in specified locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with disabilities and their carers.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients and their families.
• Provide training and education to staff and volunteers in disability services.
• Participate in research projects related to disability services.

Requirements

• Registered Psychologist with relevant clinical experience in disability services.
• Experience in providing psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of disability-related issues and services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology.
• Current registration with the Health and Social Care Professionals Council (HSCPC).
• Membership of the Irish Psychological Society (IPS).

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Salary range: €45,000 - €55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
