About the role
We are seeking a Senior Psychologist to join our team within Disability Services. The role involves providing expert psychological support to individuals with disabilities and their carers.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical assessments and interventions for individuals with disabilities and their carers.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of service users' progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Train and mentor other members of the team in psychological approaches and techniques.
Requirements
- A relevant PhD in Psychology or a closely related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in a senior clinical psychology role.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in disability services and mental health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Registered with the Health and Social Care Professionals Council (HSCPC).
- Current registration with the Health Service Executive (HSE).
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.

Pay
The salary for this position is €55,000 - €65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
