About the role

We are seeking a Senior Psychologist to join our team within Disability Services. The role involves providing expert psychological support to individuals with disabilities and their carers.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments and interventions for individuals with disabilities and their carers.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of service users' progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Train and mentor other members of the team in psychological approaches and techniques.

Requirements

• A relevant PhD in Psychology or a closely related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in a senior clinical psychology role.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in disability services and mental health.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Health and Social Care Professionals Council (HSCPC).
• Current registration with the Health Service Executive (HSE).

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.

Pay

The salary for this position is €55,000 - €65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
