Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise multidisciplinary mental health teams delivering comprehensive behavioral health services.
- Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and guidance to psychologists, therapists, and allied professionals.
- Mentor psychology trainees, interns, and licensed staff while fostering professional growth.
- Deliver direct clinical services, including psychological assessments, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and consultation.
- Help design, implement, and evaluate innovative mental health programs that improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, housing agencies, rehabilitation programs, and other partners.
- Champion equitable, culturally responsive services for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Oversee psychological testing and support program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide expert testimony related to psychological evaluations when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Doctorate from an accredited university in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or another discipline recognized as equivalent by the California Board of Psychology.
- Two (2) years of post-licensure experience applying psychological techniques in a mental health setting.
- Current license to practice as a Psychologist issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Psychology.
