Psychiatrist (Part Time)
About the Role
Mammoth Hospital’s Behavioral Health Department is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative integrated behavioral health environment. Experience working with the child and adolescent population is a plus, and board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry is preferred. This flexible part-time position is ideal for a physician seeking work-life balance, reduced hours, or supplemental income. The role offers an option for remote telehealth with occasional in-person requirements.

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and case managers to coordinate care
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Participate in case reviews and team meetings as needed
Qualifications
- MD or DO with a valid license to practice psychiatry in California
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
- Experience working with diverse populations, including adults and/or adolescents
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with telehealth is a plus
