About the role
We are seeking a qualified professional to work in an inpatient acute psychiatric unit on a 4‑month assignment.
Responsibilities
- Treating patients with anxiety, affective, psychotic, and personality disorders through modalities such as pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy.
- Managing 10‑12 patients per shift.
- Utilizing skills in seclusion therapy and restraint application.
- Providing specialized mental health care within a clinical setting.
- Ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Hospital privileges.
- Eligibility for board certification.
- Relevant licensure and experience in psychiatric treatment.
