Psychiatrist - Locum Coverage

About the Role

This outpatient psychiatric position involves providing comprehensive mental health care for adults, with occasional pediatric consultations. The clinician will conduct evaluations, manage medications, develop personalized treatment plans, maintain detailed documentation, and collaborate with staff to ensure quality care in a structured therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations for adults and occasional pediatric patients
• Manage medications and develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation using modern systems
• Collaborate with staff to ensure patient-centered care
• Manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day

Requirements

• Licensed psychiatrist with prescriptive authority
• Experience treating a diverse patient population of all ages
• Strong clinical skills in adult psychiatry with pediatric experience
• Ability to work independently in a community-based setting

Schedule

Part-time, 16 hours weekly. On-site work with no call responsibilities.
