Psychiatrist - Locum Coverage

About the Role

This outpatient psychiatric position involves providing comprehensive mental health care for adults, with occasional pediatric consultations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Develop and implement treatment plans for adult patients, with some pediatric cases
• Maintain thorough documentation and collaborate with the care team
• See a caseload of 8-10 patients daily, with variable follow-up and evaluation times

Schedule

Part-time, day shifts totaling 16 hours per week.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prescriptive authority required
• Experience treating adult populations, with flexibility for pediatric cases
• Strong documentation and collaborative skills
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting
