Psychiatrist 2 - Clinical Director

About the role

Leading a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Fergus Falls, MN, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment to patients with a range of behavioral health needs. This role involves direct patient care and coordinating with various disciplines to tailor treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients directly and coordinate interdisciplinary treatment teams
• Develop and implement treatment interventions tailored to patients' specific needs
• Collaborate with colleagues across the state's network of Community Behavioral Health Hospitals (CBHH)
• Facilitate transitions from inpatient to outpatient care
• Engage with patients, their families, and community resources in treatment planning

Requirements

Board eligible or board-certified psychiatrist with an active unrestricted State of Minnesota medical license or the ability to obtain one. Adult inpatient psychiatry experience preferred, along with leadership and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with severe and persistent mental illnesses (SPMIs)
• Strong advocacy for quality of care
• Community-based treatment approach

Pay

$123.63 - $185.43 / hourly; $258,139 - $387,178 / annually
