Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker/ Assistant

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assuring that the work for the day is completed, by engaging members and sharing direct responsibility for task completion.
• Affirm that adequate work exists for the unit and work to engage all members signed up for that unit.
• Support Services: Provide support and encouragement to members within the clubhouse.
• Train and provide ongoing support to those members in transitional employment (TE) positions and independent employment.
• Aid program coordinator and other staff in the development of new TE placements.
• Identify and refer members to any needed services.
• Documentation: Responsible for keeping accurate documentation as required by program procedures.
• Aid members in opening and maintaining a record on each program participant.
• Aid members in completing goal plans in a timely fashion.
• Affirm that member records meet licensure and funding source requirements.
• Professional Development: Obtain and maintain credentialing/training as directed by the program coordinator.
• Attend weekly case supervision meetings with the program coordinator.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services and a minimum of two (2) years experience in human services which must include one (1) year of direct mental health experience.
• Must have completed or will attend 12 (twelve) hour psychiatric rehabilitation orientation training within one (1) year of hire;
• Must be 21 (twenty-one) years old;
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and reliable transportation and insurable driving record.
• Must have already completed or will attend three (3) week training at an International Center of Clubhouse Development (ICCD) certified training base within two (2) years of employment, at the program coordinator’s direction.

Compensation

Yearly Salary: $30,014.40 - $32,011.20
