Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / NP / Facility Based Crisis / Part Time

Responsibilities

• Psychiatric Evaluations
• Medications Management for adults
• Participate in regulated supervision
• Consult with Staff

Requirements

• Must be licensed Psychiatric Nurse
• Must be certified at the national level by American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Nurse Practitioner
• Experience working with the population supported
• Requires a certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Relies on experience, knowledge, and judgment to provide services with limited supervision and direction

Qualifications

• 3 years experience working in behavioral health care preferred
• Required training
• Valid driver’s license (this is a condition of employment)

Skills

• Knowledge of standards of practice for position and regulations
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Shift: 8:00am - 12:00pm
