Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Part Time

Who We’re Looking For

• Board-certified PMHNPs
• Compassionate, skilled, and dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal mental health through expert-level psychopharmacology
• Experience with children and adolescents is a huge plus!
• Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply

Your Role

• Evaluate & treat psychiatric conditions such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient history, symptoms, and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe and monitor medications, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Screen patients for higher levels of care and refer as needed.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies for acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in a supportive and collegial environment.
• If interested in ketamine therapy, we provide training for those looking to gain expertise in this cutting-edge intervention.

Qualifications

• Active NYS license and registration as a PMHNP-BC.
• DEA License.
• BLS certification.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach with a growth mindset.
• Experience with pediatrics and Spanish-speaking abilities are a plus!

Pay

$120-180 per hour based on a $60 per visit fee.

Schedule

We offer per diem and part-time hybrid positions, with a minimum commitment of 10 patient hours a week, including one-third of those hours spent onsite, providing a balanced and adaptable work schedule.
