About the role
We are seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide mental health care to diverse clients, primarily adults and adolescents, via telemedicine and in-person assessments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Prescribe medications based on client needs and clinical judgment
- Develop, implement, and collaborate on personalized care plans
- Complete relevant documentation and assessment tools
- Adhere to clinical practice guidelines and protocols
- Consult with regional directors and staff on client care and program development
Qualifications and Skills
- Active licensure and certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Master’s degree in Nursing with prescriptive authority
- Minimum one year of psychiatric practice, with three years of healthcare experience preferred
- Understanding of EMR systems like AdvancedMD is a plus
- Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and older
- Completion of in-house training on ADHD treatment standards and certification
- Strong assessment and prescribing skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to guidelines
