About the role

Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners will provide mental health care via telemedicine and in‑person assessments for clients aged 14 and up. Clinicians will conduct psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medications, develop care plans, and collaborate with regional staff while adhering to established clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments.
• Prescribe and manage medications for conditions such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
• Develop individualized care plans.
• Document all clinical activities in the EMR system.
• Consult and collaborate with regional staff and multidisciplinary team members.
• Complete in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and pass the associated certification exam.

Qualifications

• Valid state license and board certification in psychiatric mental health nursing.
• Master’s degree in Nursing with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum of one year of psychiatric practice experience.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as AdvancedMD (preferred).
