We are seeking Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide mental health care via telemedicine and in‑person assessments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for diverse clients aged 14 and up.
- Prescribe medications to manage mental health symptoms based on clinical judgment.
- Develop and collaborate on individualized care plans.
- Complete necessary documentation and assessment tools.
- Adhere to clinical practice guidelines and consult with regional directors.
- Provide ongoing psychiatric assessments and medication management.
- Collaborate with clients on care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and documentation.
- Participate in team consultations and program development.
Qualifications
- Board‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
- Master’s in Nursing with licensing to prescribe in the state.
- At least one year of psychiatry practice; three years of healthcare experience preferred.
- Willingness to treat adolescents and adults.
- Understanding of EMR systems (experience with AdvancedMD a plus).
- Completion of in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and certification.
