Location: Virginia Beach, VA – Telemedicine and in‑person assessments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients aged 14 and older.
- Prescribe medications and develop collaborative care plans.
- Complete necessary documentation and adhere to clinical guidelines.
- Consult with regional staff on client care and program development.
Qualifications and Skills
- Board‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with active licensure and prescriptive authority in Virginia.
- At least one year of psychiatric practice; three years of experience preferred.
- Understanding of EMR systems such as AdvancedMD is a plus.
- Willingness to treat diverse populations, primarily adults and adolescents.
- Completion of in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards, with certification.
