Responsibilities
- Clinical Care:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and comprehensive assessments.
- Provide ongoing medication management for assigned caseload as needed.
- Develop treatment plans that align with client goals and clinical best practices.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Prescribe TMS Therapy and other treatments.
- Perform TMS cortical mappings.
- Oversee staff technicians who perform daily TMS treatments.
- Collaboration:
- Coordinate care with internal therapists, psychologists, and outside referents.
- Participate in case consultation and interdisciplinary discussions as needed.
- Communicate treatment progress and care plans with clients and families when appropriate.
- Patient Experience & Clinical Contribution:
- Provide empathetic, professional care to clients of varying backgrounds.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches to support symptom reduction and stability.
- Contribute to a supportive, growth-focused clinical environment.
- Engage in continuing education to maintain licensure and strengthen clinical practice.
Requirements
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License.
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing.
- Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-certification experience, outpatient preferred.
- Ability to function well independently, as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as thorough knowledge about the various medical processes and procedures.
- Possess adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy.
- Comply with prescription drug monitoring program regulations.
