Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/PMHNP

About the role

LifeStance Health is a national provider of mental healthcare services focused on evidenced-based, medically driven treatment services for children, adolescents and adults suffering from a variety of mental health issues in an outpatient care setting, both in-person at its clinics nationwide and through its digital health telemedicine offering. The company employs psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and licensed therapists throughout the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient response
• Conduct psychotherapy sessions as part of the treatment plan
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements

• Must be fully licensed in Minnesota
• Must hold a valid DEA license
• Must have at least one year of experience as a PMHNP

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on psychiatric-mental health nursing
• Current licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Minnesota
• Experience in both medication management and psychotherapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
