We are a community hospital seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for our outpatient psychiatry clinic. Our team provides evidence-based mental and behavioral health care in a collaborative setting, working alongside our psychiatrist and clinical staff to deliver consistent, quality care to the patients and families we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment in accordance with all applicable statutes, regulations, and protocols
• Develop individual treatment plans and monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress
• Prescribe medications in line with treatment guidelines and in collaboration with the psychiatrist
• Order therapeutic and diagnostic tests, then interpret and explain results to patients and families

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing from an accredited program, following a Bachelor's in Nursing
• Current, unrestricted, and active RN and Nurse Practitioner licensure
• PMHNP certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Knowledge across the broad field of mental and behavioral health, with strong interviewing and assessment skills

Pay

$120,000 - $187,000 per year
