Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Requirements
Certified Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP licensed in the state of Pennsylvania with prescriptive authority required.
Minimum one year of experience in community mental health preferred.
The Ideal Candidate Will Posses Experience with integrated health preferred.
Experience in crisis intervention, urgent care, or emergency psychiatric settings is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
Responsibilities
- Conducting psychiatric patient evaluations to determine medication needs, documenting evaluations and interactions with the patient in the electronic health record.
- Prescribing pharmacologic therapies including controlled substances, monitoring progress and making necessary changes to patients' medications.
- Facilitating direct patient admissions into hospitals when needed.
- Participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to develop coordinated treatment plans.

$58.86-$67.00/hr (depending on experience)
Schedule
Flexible 7.5 hours/week (onsite and in the community)
