About the role
As a Territory Manager, you will effectively manage your territory by conducting cold calls, building and strengthening customer relationships, and expanding the customer base. You will provide or facilitate technical and educational support, collaborating with Ring Power experts to advance customer knowledge of products, services, and solutions. This role involves assisting managers in developing annual goals, submitting yearly territory forecasts, and maintaining customer accounts, including credit levels and CRM records.
Responsibilities
- Develop and submit an annual territory forecast and plan for manager approval.
- Establish and maintain customer accounts, including credit levels and CRM tracking for sales opportunities.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for parts and services programs, ensuring customers are updated on all offerings.
- Manage fleet support, report customer opportunities and complex issues, and ensure proper routing and resolution.
- Collaborate with Ring Power professionals across departments and divisions on marketing, sales, service, and operations.
- Conduct yourself professionally, committing to personal and professional growth while maintaining a respectful and honest demeanor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and convey information effectively.
- Proficiency in job-specific skills as identified in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ability to adapt to changing job requirements, including re-training as needed.

Physical Demands

- Frequently (3-6 hours/day): Standing, sitting, walking, fingering, grasping, repetitive motion, and inside conditions.
- Constantly (6-8 hours/day): Talking and hearing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales, industry, or technical experience.
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite and CRM experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
