Home, Hope and Healing, Inc. is seeking a PSS to work one-on-one with an adult client in the Sidney area, providing client-centered care.
About the role
- Variable-length shifts, primarily day shift; schedule built collaboratively to meet your needs
- Flexible employment options: Per Diem, Part-Time, or Full-Time at your chosen location
- In-home assistance aligned with the client’s authorized, individualized care plan
Responsibilities
- Personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, oral care
- Dressing and undressing
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Transfer and/or mobility assistance
- Safe restroom use and continence support
- Activities of daily living: meal preparation, communication assistance (telephone, email, internet), general housework (laundry, dishes, grocery shopping), and maintaining a hygienic residence
Support
Regional Nurse Managers provide ongoing support, supervision, and education to team members.

Requirements
- PSS certificate preferred but not required; must enroll in PSS course upon hire and complete within 6 months (reimbursement for course fees after meeting work requirements)
- Active CNA certification accepted in lieu of PSS certificate
- Current PSS certificate or CNA certification highly preferred
- One year of clinical experience in home care preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Successful passing of background checks
