Home, Hope and Healing, Inc. is seeking a PSS to work with an adult client in the Whitefield area. This role involves providing 12 hours of care over 2 days per week, with variable shift lengths primarily during the day. The schedule will be built collaboratively to meet your needs, and flexibility is offered for per diem or full-time work in your preferred location.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1, client-centered care as part of the client’s authorized and individual care plan
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, and undressing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Support transfer and/or mobility, safe restroom use, and maintaining continence
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, communication (telephone, email, internet), general housework (laundry, dishes, grocery shopping), and maintaining a hygienic residence
Requirements
- PSS certificate is preferred but not required; must enroll in a PSS course upon hire and complete it within 6 months (reimbursement for course fees after meeting work requirements)
- Current PSS certificate or active CNA certification is highly preferred
- One year of clinical experience in home care preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Successful passing of background checks

Dementia experience is preferred. Regional Nurse Managers provide ongoing support, supervision, and education to team members.
