Providence Place - Executive Director In Training (EDIT)

About the role

Providence Place, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Executive Director in Training (EDIT) to join their growing team. Located in southern Minneapolis in the Standish Ericcson neighborhood, they provide services for seniors in a TCU (Transitional Care Unit), Care, Long-Term Care, and Memory Care. With over 25 years of experience, they are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors.

Responsibilities

• Makes sure each department’s activities are monitored, policies are communicated, performance is evaluated, feedback is provided, assistance is given, and observations are made.
• Fosters an environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and empowerment among the facility management team.
• Conducts regular rounds to assess nursing care delivery, support department operations, facility cleanliness and appearance, staff morale, and ensures resident needs are met.
• Oversees and adheres to departmental budgets.
• Maintains compliance with employment laws, company policies, and practices that promote high morale and staff retention, including effective communication, prompt problem resolution, and a proactive work environment.
• Develops positive relationships with government regulators, residents, families, area healthcare providers, physicians, and the broader community.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Gerontology, Business, Marketing, or another related field is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience, marketing, public relations, and/or advertising.
• Experience in long-term care or acute care is preferred.

Pay

$55,000 - $85,000, based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time days, Manager on Duty weekend/holiday rotation.
