Pay Rate

$21.00 per hour

Hours

Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM (40hrs.)

Overview Of Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct job development and job search activities
• Aid clients in obtaining employment
• Aid in employability skill development
• Prepare clients for interviews and resumes
• Provide individualized support
• Aid clients in maintaining employment
• Offer benefits counseling
• Provide education to family members and employers
• Negotiate job accommodations when needed
• Collaborate with team members to achieve employment outcomes

Qualifications And Attributes

• Ability to work as an effective team player
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle are required for this position
• Associates degree in mental health, social services or business preferred
• Experience working with people with a serious mental illness is preferred
• Experience providing employment services is preferred

Physical Characteristics

• Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long-periods of time
• Able to work in open space floor plan
• Must be capable to move throughout work day (and follow individuals throughout the community)
• Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet
• Must be able to move in tight spaces
• Occasional lifting of > _25+ pounds

Assignments may be determined at a future date

Education

• Associates degree in mental health, social services or business preferred
