Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the development of proposals, responses to RFIs, and other relevant documents.
- Agree the sales strategy for the opportunity with the sales team and run internal kick-off meetings with the proposal contributing team.
- Draft proposals and expedite requests for senior leaders to provide expert text in line with the strategic vision for the proposal.
- Maintain timelines for deliverables for internal and external clients, plan and communicate effectively to enforce internal deadlines, and manage a large team of people from diverse departments.
- Research information for RFIs and RFPs, create and edit proposals and related documents based on client requirements, team meetings, and discussions, and incorporate strategy, completeness, quality, and adherence with proposal standards.
- Liaise with Business Development and Operational staff to design proposals and edit added text.
- Update Department tracking in SalesForce as required.
- Communicate project status and elevate potential problems with relevant department directors and senior management to ensure EVERSANA success.
- Interact with senior management from across the organization.
- Showcase excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, good writing ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable ability to understand complex concepts/ideas and apply them to a specific function/task.
- Self-starter as demonstrated by actively seeking out solutions to problems and self-educating where knowledge is lacking.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical development and commercialization.
- Previous industry-related experience.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail – quality driven.
- Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Physical/Mental Demands And Working Environment
- Office: Frequently standing, walking, talking, hearing, reaching, grasping, sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and occasionally moving heavy objects.
- No special environmental conditions.
Travel
National travel 3-5 times per year.
Hours
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
