Proposal Manager
This role is based onsite at our Draper, UT office. While local candidates are strongly preferred, we are open to exceptional remote candidates based anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire proposal development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with public sector RFP requirements.
- Coordinate contributions from cross-functional teams to develop compelling and competitive proposals, ensuring timely submissions.
- Analyze and review RFPs from various entities, including government agencies, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions, to understand specific requirements, compliance guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop winning proposal strategies that align with the public sector's unique requirements.
- Develop and manage comprehensive proposal content and templates, ensuring that messaging is clear, consistent, and persuasive.
- Tailor content to comply with regulatory and technical specifications.
- Facilitate collaboration between sales, sales engineers, legal, marketing, and product teams to develop comprehensive proposals.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all proposal-related communication and updates.
- Implement rigorous quality control processes to review proposal content for compliance, accuracy, grammar, and clarity.
- Ensure that all proposals meet internal and external standards prior to submission.
- Identify potential risks in proposal development and submission, and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks proactively.
- Ensure contingency plans are in place to handle last-minute changes or corrections.
- Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation, such as certifications, security questionnaires, and compliance attestations.
- Ensure proposal documents follow corporate branding guidelines, standard formatting, and quality standards.
- Occasionally travel for work-related meetings, conferences, and team-building events.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proposal development experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience with proposal management, proposal development, or project management.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat.
- Preferred experience in sales tools including CRM (e.g., Salesforce), Proposal Content Management (e.g., Loopio), and Project/Task Management (e.g., ClickUp).
- Strong knowledge of software technology, including SaaS, cloud computing, and enterprise solutions.
